Kitchen E-Design

Softening a modern kitchen with pop art and design classics

This kitchen e-design project sought to personalise the clients ultra modern white kitchen. They liked the cabinetry but wanted to to bring some colour in and give it an elevated feel. We worked on an E-design package to give a look and and feel and suggest items for purchase. The package showed three options for lookbooks, and once the client picked the look they liked we send them a sourcing list so they could get going on purchase and installation.

We discussed colour and how that might work - the client liked the idea of a gallery feel with colour coming from large format artwork. Since they loved 60’s pop art, we sourced large posters by Warhol and Lichtenstein. Inspired by this era and style, we paired the iconic Saarinen tulip table with Louis Poulson light fittings. A black version of the wishbone chair grounded the design.

Alongside the lookbook the client also receives a floorplan which shows what will go where and ensures everything fits.

The sourcing list shows the items that the client can then arrange. All sourcing is undertaken in line with the budget discussed at the project outset.
